Cancer Ward Visit

K4K attends RCH, it’s up there with our most favourite collaborations!

Our visits have been generously supported by AFL superstars Toby Greene and Jezza Cameron. This Christmas we bought along our most recent friend and supporter, cartoon drawing artist Nick Love. Drawing very special kids and letting their imagination run wild warms the heart! “How would you like to be drawn” Nick asks. “I can draw you as anything you would like, as superman, a shark, a princess, you name it!” “As a footy hero kicking the winning goal” one boy explains. “With hair” a beautiful young girl softly queries. “Of course” Nick happily replies.

What a tough but truly humbling experience it is to be in such a brave place.Those kids, Dr’s and the staff are an inspiration to all of us. The smiles created on their faces is unforgettable. Every now and then it’s nice to be reminded of the difference we can make by just being present.
