Meet Harvey! He’s a beautiful 2 year boy with a rare genetic condition called Angelman Syndrome, which affects about 1 in 15,000 people. This condition causes developmental delays and intellectual disability, impacting every aspect of Harvey’s daily life
He attends therapies several times a week, hoping to catch up with his peers and learn to walk. While verbal communication is unlikely, Harvey may one day communicate with a device. K4K spoke with Harvey’s Mum and Dad.
“There’s a lot of things Harvey needs that should technically be covered by NDIS, but sometimes it can be a real challenge getting them.
